Partially closed off for the construction of Shaft 33B of the Third Water Tunnel and ancillary water mains.  Project should be complete in about 6 years and then park is expected to be reconstructed.

 

24 Sycamores Park

York Avenue between 60th and 61st Street Basketball Courts with separate entrance opened 24 hours; Park—Jungle gym for younger and older children, Spray feature, benches, tables?; bathrooms

 

Queensboro Oval

York Avenue between 59th and 60th Street Unenclosed Ball field under the 59th Queensboro Bridge for baseball/softball from June ? to October ? and a tennis bubble is erected for the balance or the year

 

St. Catherine’s Park

1st Avenue between 67th and 68th Streets Ball field—Basketball and Handball Courts, Track; Park—Sand Box, Jungle Gym. Spray elephants, chess tables, picnic tables, benches; bathrooms

 

Tramway Park

2nd Avenue between 59th and 60th Streets Under construction and is expected to open the Spring of 2007
